JABO 2008 Joker I Anatomy of a Cranberry

These are among the rarest of the JABO Joker I or (JERK) marbles. Five distinct family types have been identified. Lutz Aventurine Pre Cranberries (Images 001-025.) These were produced by mixing crushed Green Aventurine and Gold Lutz with Gold Lutz showing in the mix with Oxblood. Type I White Slag Ruby Oxblood Aventurine (Images 026-145) lots of white, treads of Oxblood, some Lutz Aventurine and varying degrees of Cranberry glass. Type II Ruby Aventurine and Opaque White and Cream (Images 046-060) are generally identified as Cranberries by most of the Collecting Community. Type III Ruby, Aventurine, Cream Opaque and Oxblood (Images 061-085.) Include FAT, Thin and Wavy Oxblood with copious amounts of Cranberry glass on opaque white or cream base. Type IV Opaque Cream with Ruby (Images 86-105) Large cream or white base include Aventurine and Oxblood and Cranberry glass throughout. Type V Apricot Aventurine (Images 106-115) show a thoroughly mixed opaque base with Ruby glass.
