This was good for me to hear, like an un-asked question answered. I never thought really about what exactly IS the Gospel, and I did kind of think that the life, death, and ressuerection of Jesus Christ was the gospel. Reading this my spirit tells me it is true, that Every Word from God is the gospel! How cool is that.

This is one of the most interestings studies (personally) that I've read. I love the 19 refferences to the host of heaven.
This part you wrote: It’s meaning relates the idea of an army, or large number, it is used to reflect both the great number of the celestial (heavenly) and terrestrial (earthly) elements of creation. -this is exactly what I had thought, that the "host of heaven" was/is elements of creation. I don't know why but that's exiting, I guess because just the elements of God's creation are so amazing and yet in comparison to God they are nothing so it magnifies God just from it's comparison.

I just read this (FEAR OF THE LORD). I am mesmerized. 1st, I too have found myself going Directly to the Word of God now more then ever when I have a question. God has imprinted it on me strongly to stay close to his word, and I have been learning more and more to not only stay close but drown myself--in a good way--in his teachings. I do not know however, why every Christian does not get this same impression or wisdom. 2cnd I have feared the Lord more in the past few months then I ever have in my entire life, and I had thought that the evil and unfaithfulness I had committed when I became a prodical son was bad--and it was!--but God is a genius and through my evil he has taught me to fear Him, so much so that it causes me to flee to him, cling to him, and get closer and closer to him.
The scripture: PROVERBS 1:7 NKJV 'The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge...' is plainly true. This touches home with me, because the first time that I can remember I ever made a acknowledgement towards God, was when Michael (my dad) told me (when I was just a little kid) that those who were not chosen by God would be forever away from God; I prayed to God that He would accept me that night. That was the First time I ever prayed to God on my own, and that's my furthest memory I have concerning my relationship with God. That's why that scripture rings home for me; the very first thing that ever pushed me towards this living God, was Fear. I do believe however that my relationship with God has been half-half until recently after I have now come to understand the Fear of God, because this Fear makes me Run away from sin, and this Fear makes me Cling to God.

This part which you posted (below) is the thoughts I have been trying to put into words for a while now. After years of walking in a relationship with God and learning much but also falling horibly short everytime; in this time I have heard many things from different standpoints from many Christians. But while many Christians spoke truth to me and no doubtly I could feel the love and touch of God's love, peace, compassion, ect. in thier lives, there was always some void there, and I have come to realize (or believe) that it is because a lot of Christian kind of stray from the direct connection of the Word to it's people and start making little side trials which began from the word but are heading towards 'self evaluating' and I don't even know if that's the right words, but the main core of the thoughts I've had are the truth that you know doubt discovered many years ago:

Everything must be supported directly from the Word of God. Everything must be easily demonstrated from the revelation, and avoid large leaps in relational thinking, supported rather by the clear interaction of the Word of God, as given in its revelational form.

Hey. I have a question. I think you showed me this, but it was all so much info. Lets say I'm reading a chapter in God's Word, where would I go online to study and/or view the original greek words used in the chapter? I'm very interested and exited to go even furth and deeper into the study of God's Word.

Reading all this--everything here on creation--gives me an even deeper respect of God's creation, and make me in awe even more. It is also all so exiting, and I pray that these truths of God's creation stays in my heart always; I even ask that you put it in your prayers that God would incorperate these truths of his creation in my heart, mind, and spirit on a daily basis.
I have One question. In Neh 9: 6 (under where it says God to be praised for) Towards the end it says: the host of heaven worships you. Who is this host of heaven??
