These Marbles represent three separate runs. Crystal / Floater / Transparent are all names used to describe the marbles as they view in hand. The actual run Names are provided below.
Within the JABO community, the term Floater was popularized by Steve Sturtz in a book he produced. He has told me this was a phrase he coined and David liked which stuck.
The term Crystals was popularized by Rick Hall and the Joker teams, preferring this term over floater. Over all the terms are interchangeable, and I have photographed and published photos using both of the terms.
Another confusion within the community is my titling some image with the word "Superhero" some folks have actually thought this was the name of the marbles, and because it is associated with images, it has stuck out there. For the record I have used the term "Superhero" to designate marbles which are a cut above the rest.
What do I believe qualifies? To fall into this class the marble must have a good portion of transparency with some level of coverage in the marbles in excess of 25%. This would disqualify a lot of the swirls and more thready marbles which may have been produced within the same runs. This is not cannon however. Other would argue this point I am sure, some would adduce it as a fair call. In my view they are very similar to Slags, but with more color on a clear transparent base. (Oddly enough, this would qualify some marbles like the cranberry class from Joker I as Crystals.)
Some other Crystal runs are the Pastel which had some stunning lutz runners, the Omega run which was an early failed run. Most of the runs have some transparent marbles, which are not in any of the families usually because they are not as pretty. Encore has some nice ones, as did Rainbow the Burnt Oxblood Stringers. Most of the Tribute runs and others.
The pictures from each line are all one box, a wide view and then three close ups. They are arranged so if you pick on I will be able to ID it quickly.

JABO FOXFIRE I 2009
Not well know for this run is some of the stunning Transparent marbles produced. I have sold some on the bay for as much as 20+ dollars each they come on rarely and are stunning. Some of these have LUTZ, which will not go out of the box for less than $30. Its hard to photograph in this method so, if you pick one I will let you know which ones do. The rest are between $15 and $20
JABO Joker Crystal Orbits 2010
These are the last of my keepers. Nothing in this box should go for less than $15 and that's a bargain.
JABO ET Crystal Run 2011
Produces by Dave in March of 2011 and named after Elaine Tucker and friend of the Marble community. The very nice ones are $15 some of the other are can go for $10.
