True Worship Before the Throne<\/strong><\/p>\n

We recognize, teach and confess all the glory for our redemption belongs to God alone.\u00a0 It is “his glorious power<\/em>” which changes us and molds us into the image of Christ.\u00a0 It’s not about how many times you have read the bible, or how many verses you have memorized, or how many moving songs you sing, it’s all about Christ and what he has commanded us to practice, teach, preach and share. (Matt 28:18-20).\u00a0 True worship is found in those churches which focus on the following:<\/p>\n

Christ Alone<\/strong> – Is the undeniable truth presented in the Scriptures which testify of Christ, Faith which is found in Christ Jesus, and Grace which is administered eternally by God on the merits of Christ and his shed blood only.\u00a0 Christ and Christ alone is the only hope of salvation. (Heb 7:23-28, 9:14-28; Gal 4:4-5)<\/p>\n

Glory to God Alone<\/strong> – These four words are the battle cry of every Christian who faces the fallen world, a frenzied news cycle, and every other trial and temptation; hour by hour until we are received into Glory or Christ our Lord returns.\u00a0 God alone is worthy of our praise and adoration, as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 All glory belongs to the Lord of Lord’s and King of Kings. (Ps 29:1-2, 96:7-8; Rom 11:36; Rev 19:1-7)<\/p>\n

Faith Alone<\/strong> – Reflects our acceptance of the Scriptural standards which teach us where our Faith comes from.\u00a0 We have heard the voice of Christ the Word of God, and as his sheep we follow him.\u00a0 It’s not about us opening the door to find Christ, its about answering his gracious knocking, which begins the change in our hearts, and produces a hunger and thirst for righteousness.\u00a0 Christ is our righteousness and our salvation come through faith alone in him. (Eph 2:8-9; 2 Thess 2:13)<\/p>\n

Grace Alone<\/strong> – Teaches us the truth that all we receive from the Lord is a gift we can never earn.\u00a0 Unmerited favor which is bestowed upon us is the demonstrable evidence of the mercy and loving-kindness of God.<\/p>\n

S<\/strong>cripture Alone<\/strong> – Reflects our knowledge of God’s Word as our highest authority.\u00a0 Because, it is the Word of God, and we desire to live by its every precept as Christ our Lord did.\u00a0 We will not ever be perfect in this endeavor, but we can bear one another burdens as we struggle through failures and seasons of grace and blessings. (Rom 10:17; 1 Cor 4:13-14; 2 Tim 3:15-17)<\/p>\n

We are confession oriented holding to the teaching of the early Church as formulated in the Apostles Creed:<\/p>\n

I believe in God the Father Almighty,\u00a0Maker of heaven and earth.
\nAnd in Jesus Christ,\u00a0His only-begotten Son, our Lord:
\nwho was conceived by the Holy Spirit,\u00a0born of the virgin Mary,
\nsuffered under Pontius Pilate,\u00a0was crucified, dead, and buried;
\nHe descended into hell;\u00a0the third day He rose from the dead;
\nHe ascended into heaven,\u00a0and sits at the right hand of
\nGod the Father Almighty;\u00a0from there He shall come to judge
\nthe living and the dead.\u00a0I believe in the Holy Spirit,
\nthe holy, catholic Church,\u00a0the communion of saints,
\nthe forgiveness of sins,\u00a0the resurrection of the body,
\nand the life everlasting.
