Genre: Other.\",\"meta\":{\"artist\":\"Elder Matthew Davis\",\"album\":\"Covenant Reformed Church\",\"genre\":\"Other\",\"year\":\"2018\",\"length_formatted\":\"30:21\"},\"image\":{\"src\":\"https:\\\/\\\/biblefreak.org\\\/teaching\\\/wp-content\\\/uploads\\\/2019\\\/12\\\/The-Completion-Fulfillment-and-Perfection-of-Christ-Elder-Matthew-Davis-2319178144-mp3-image-1.jpg\",\"width\":196,\"height\":242},\"thumb\":{\"src\":\"https:\\\/\\\/biblefreak.org\\\/teaching\\\/wp-content\\\/uploads\\\/2019\\\/12\\\/The-Completion-Fulfillment-and-Perfection-of-Christ-Elder-Matthew-Davis-2319178144-mp3-image-1-150x150.jpg\",\"width\":150,\"height\":150}}]}<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\t\n<p>The definition of peace is not subject to a theological debate.\u00a0 God is the God of Peace, identifying Peace as part of his nature.\u00a0 The very nature of Christ, God Incarnate, is described in the title Prince of Peace.\u00a0 So, we follow as soldiers of peace.\u00a0 We are called the children of God, in this designation, \u201cBlessed are the Peacemakers.\u201d\u00a0 Literally \u201cthose who make or do peace\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>It may be said of humanity, we all desire peace.\u00a0 At least as a general rule.\u00a0 No wars, no hatred, no discrimination, no judging.\u00a0 But this is a flawed perspective of peace, starting with humanity, and not with God.\u00a0 To understand what true peace is, we must look at Christ who is the only Prince of Peace.\u00a0 Then and only then can you begin to understand your role as a peacemaker in Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Note in the progression of the beatitudes peace is listed toward the end, and is immediately followed by blessings pronounced upon those who are persecuted.\u00a0 Think about that for a moment.\u00a0 The poor in spirit, those who mourn, those who are meek, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness and those who are merciful, all receive not only blessings from God, but the condition of those who are in Christ is multiple.\u00a0 Just like a mother is also a woman, was a child, is a human being.
