Welcoming the Year 2026
Thank you for stopping to take a look.
May Christ richly bless you.

Thank you for visiting.  For many years, I supported David McCullough (RIP). Through buying and selling JABO, SMM, and D.A.S. Marbles I have met dozens of folks and found joy and that nostalgic little boy that lives in me.  Marble sales supported me through Seminary, hard times, and good times.

Any spend over $10 receives a 10% discount, $22 receives a 20% discount, and $100 receives %30 off!

I know sites run specials. My discounts are always active.

Memorial (2017)

The 2017 D.A.S. Memorial Run was not a JABO production but part of Dave’s Appalachian Swirls (D.A.S.), which was Dave McCullough’s independent project after his long tenure at JABO.

What Made D.A.S. Distinct
• Independent Identity: Unlike JABO, which was a company-based operation, D.A.S. was McCullough’s own continuation of the art form, carried out with smaller, more personal runs.
• Memorial Run (2017): This particular run was dedicated to Memorial Day, blending commemoration with artistry.
• Signature Style: D.A.S. marbles often featured:
• Aventurine sparkle (shimmering mineral inclusions).
• Oxblood swirls layered with bright greens, reds, creams, and purples.
• Holiday-like palettes (reds and greens with gold sparkle).
• Collector Boxes: Many marbles from this run were released in signed sets, adding provenance and value.

Legacy of the 2017 Memorial Run
• Commemorative Meaning: It wasn’t just about the glasswork — the run carried symbolic weight tied to Memorial Day.
• Community Impact: Collectors saw it as a continuation of McCullough’s artistry beyond JABO, keeping alive the tradition of experimental machine-made marbles.
• Market Presence: These marbles still circulate among collectors, often described as “some of Dave’s finest post-JABO work.
