Joker Ultra
JABO 2009 Joker Ultra Run June 4, 2009
The JABO 2009 Joker Ultra Run, held on June 4, 2009, was a landmark production in the Joker series and one of the most technically ambitious runs executed by David McCullough at JABO Inc. This run is especially noted for its use of crystal-based glass and strong UV-reactive properties, which set it apart from earlier Joker releases.
The run was carried out on JABO’s ¾" Vitro machine and featured a wide array of vivid color combinations, internal swirls, and specialty effects. Among the most sought-after marbles from this batch are the “Black Blood”, “Oxblood and Blue”, and the “Radioactive Spider-Man” styles, which exhibit intense internal activity and dramatic color layering. These marbles often glow under UV light, a result of the experimental glass chemistry used during the run.
